"The presence of this group among the assembly of Israel proved to be a pitfall for her – then, in the beginning, and throughout history as well. In fact, the Midrash relates that the Holy One Himself did not want to accept the mixed multitude into Israel's ranks. But Moses approved their acceptance, and God acquiesced to him (https://www.templeinstitute.org/red_heifer/golden_calf.htm)
Firstly, the Temple Institute won't even cite where in the Midrash this is. Secondly, we know that Egyptians had been among Israel since Joseph married Asenath, and even Abraham had Ishmael with Hagar (who was an Egyptian and, since Esau married Ishmael's daughter, an ancestor of the Ishmaelite Edomites). Thirdly, we know that the children of their (and the Edomites') third generations are allowed to enter the congregation of Israel. Fourthly, while God has mercy, grace, etc., He never acquiesces to anyone (since He is the Creator). Fifthly, there was to be one law for both the native-born Israelite and the strangers among them.
How on Earth can the Temple Institute justify their abhorrent and unholy racism?
